Job Summary
Cardiac Specialist Registered Nurse - CVOR at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. Full Time Day Shift (6am-6pm, 36 hrs/week) with weekend call averaging 2 weekend days every six weeks. CVOR features four cardiothoracic ORs and two hybrid rooms, supporting a comprehensive cardiac and thoracic surgery program. Responsibilities include comprehensive initial and ongoing patient/family assessments, developing and updating individualized plans of care, providing safe, ethical, patient-centered care, prioritizing workload, interpreting physician orders with clinical judgment, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. Required qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, 1-2 years of OR experience, CVOR experience, experience with Open heart procedures (CABG, valve replacement/repair), scrub/circulator experience in CVOR, ACLS within 180 days, and active RN licensure. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant OR experience required
- Two or more years of CVOR experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Open heart procedures (CABG, valve replacement/repair) as well as with vascular and endovascular cases required
- Prior experience in a scrub and/or circulator role within CVOR
- ACLS within 180 Days Required
- Registered Nurse licensure required
