Job Summary
Conduct top-of-scope direct patient care and utilize a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Provide precepting for new staff to model proficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment. Maintain Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification and ensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification remains valid through sixty days of hire. Work full-time onsite at UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, with a flexible schedule of 80 hours per pay period. This role contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a culture that invests in professional success and personal well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program
- Associate's degree in allied health
- Bachelor's degree in any area
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- Any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- BLS or CPR card in hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card good through sixty days of hire
