Job Summary
Travel Cardiac Sonographer needed to perform transthoracic and stress echocardiograms, assist with transesophageal echocardiograms, and support testing department activities in Montrose, CO. Role involves floating to additional units/locations, daily patient transport, chart reviews, and adherence to manufacturer guidelines for imaging agents. Must have RDCS, ACLS, BLS certifications; 12 months of echocardiography experience (including acute care) and willingness to travel; driver’s license required. Shift is 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, 4 days/week, 13 weeks length with up to 7 days off. Travel-only assignment with >75 miles from facility to submit; COVID vaccination required post-submission with exemptions accepted. Pre-employment modules and multiple interview slots required; references from a supervisor and a lead are required.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of acute care experience
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted
- Pre-employment modules may be required for this role
- Licensure/Certification: BLS, RDCS, ACLS
- Driver’s license required for submission
- 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

- Shifts per Week: 4
- Expected Length: 13 weeks
- Special Requests: 3 separate interview times must be provided with each submission
