Cardiac Sonographer

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures for patients with heart failure, rhythm disorders, and acute myocardial infarction. Operate ultrasound equipment, computers, and accessories while demonstrating competency in film-processing procedures. Identify and initiate accurate assessment of life-threatening conditions, troubleshoot equipment to maintain minimal downtime, and charge exams and supplies daily. Maintain and update the patient log daily. Apply independent judgment to produce and analyze high-quality cardiac ultrasound images, supporting decisions from minimally invasive interventions to major structural repairs. Deliver an exceptional experience to patients and caregivers within Dignity Health's Pacific Central Coast Health Centers network.
