Job Summary
Perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and intra-operative echocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients, assisting the cardiologist with standard and intra-operative transesophageal echocardiograms in the cath lab. Discern and effectively report critical findings, type preliminary reports, and maintain TEE probe cleanliness. Requires efficient computer skills and effective communication. Candidates must hold a certificate or degree in echocardiography with one year of hospital-based experience, plus preferred experience in intra-operative/structural heart echo, TEE, and 3D strain imaging. Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification is required within 12 months, along with BLS certification. Required Qualifications
