Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) – Barnes

Performs transthoracic echocardiography exams for inpatient and outpatient settings using GE equipment (including newer GE E95 machines) with advanced modalities such as 3-D echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography. Conducts ASE-guided cardiovascular testing in an IAC-accredited lab, reviews patient history and applies clinical judgment to capture accurate images, and communicates results to the healthcare team to support final diagnostic reporting. Role involves complex echocardiography across multiple locations within Barnes-Jewish Hospital, with no after-hours call and rotating day shifts; requires RDCS certification and an Associate/Trade School-level education. Preferred experience areas include echocardiography technologist roles and related titles.
