Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) – Barnes

Performs transthoracic echocardiography exams for inpatient and outpatient populations using GE E95 systems, with capabilities in 3-D echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography. Works within Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s Cardiac Diagnostic Laboratory under ASE-guided protocols in an IAC-accredited lab; collaborates with the healthcare team to capture high-quality images and contribute to preliminary findings for physician interpretation. Requires RDCS certification and an associate-level education; role includes time-shifted scheduling with day shifts and no after-hours call. Familiarity with GE imaging and EPIC/PICOM reporting systems, and experience with advanced modalities such as stress echo and transplant-related imaging is expected.
