Job Summary
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology while providing patient services and communicating effectively with staff and radiologists. Requires a graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program and BCLS certification upon hire. This PRN role at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital supports the cardiology and imaging teams.
