Job Summary
Perform inpatient and outpatient cardiac ultrasound testing, including 2D echo, Doppler, stress exams, and transesophageal echocardiograms, under the supervision of a credentialed sonographer. Provide complex technical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while documenting findings and delivering preliminary exam results. Maintain BCLS certification upon hire and obtain ARDCS or RCS registration within one year. This role offers schedule flexibility for a career change at Piedmont Walton Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer
