Job Summary
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Provide patient services while demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists. Maintain Basic Life Support certification upon hire. This role requires a graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Schedule is PRN days at Piedmont McDuffie Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
- Ability to provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and radiologists
