Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures while providing patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology, communicating effectively with staff and radiologists. Requires a graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program with BLS certification, becoming ARDMS or ARRT certified within six months of employment.
