Job Summary
Perform Echocardiograms with M Mode, 2-D Doppler, Color Flow, TEE, contrast, and bubble studies in our IAC accredited Echo lab. Provide educational instructions to staff, students, and patients while demonstrating expertise in cardiac pathology and procedures. Maintain competence in 2-D, Doppler, color flow, and transesophageal echo techniques. Work a 36-hour week on days, 1st shift. Hold current certification in Basic Life Support and a Registered Cardiac Sonographer or registry-eligible credential. Function independently under broad supervision and resourcefully in emergency situations. Join a Magnet designated organization affiliated with the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
Required Qualifications
- Registered (CCI), (RDCS) or registry eligible
- Experience in 2-D, Doppler, color flow and transesophageal echo
- Must demonstrate the ability to function in a professional and independent manner under broad supervision and function effectively and be resourceful in emergency situations
- Hold a current certification in Basic Life Support
