Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac imaging including Echocardiograms with M Mode, 2-D Doppler, Color Flow, TEE, and contrast studies in an IAC accredited lab. Educate and provide instructions to staff, students, and patients while demonstrating expertise in cardiac pathology and procedures. Maintain competence in 2-D, Doppler, and transesophageal echo techniques, and function independently under broad supervision while managing emergency situations. Hold current CCI or RDCS certification with Basic Life Support. Work 36 hours weekly on days shift. Join a Magnet designated organization with advanced Mayo Clinic Care Network affiliations.
Required Qualifications
- Registered (CCI), (RDCS) or registry eligible
- Experience in 2-D, Doppler, color flow and transesophageal echo
- Must demonstrate the ability to function in a professional and independent manner under broad supervision and function effectively and be resourceful in emergency situations
- Hold a current certification in Basic Life Support
