Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac imaging including Echocardiograms with M Mode, 2-D Doppler, Color Flow, TEE, and contrast studies in our IAC accredited Echo lab. Educate and provide instructions to staff, students, and patients regarding cardiac pathology and procedures with expertise and precision. Maintain competency in 2-D, Doppler, color flow, and transesophageal echo while functioning independently under broad supervision and managing emergency situations. Hold current certification in Basic Life Support and register as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI). Work 36 hours per week on days during the 1st shift. Required Qualifications
- Registered (CCI), (RDCS) or registry eligible
- Experience in 2-D, Doppler, color flow and transesophageal echo
- Must demonstrate the ability to function in a professional and independent manner under broad supervision and function effectively and be resourceful in emergency situations
- Hold a current certification in Basic Life Support
