Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging including Echocardiograms with M Mode, 2-D Doppler, Color Flow, TEE, contrast, and bubble studies in an IAC accredited lab. Educate staff, students, and patients on cardiac pathology and procedures while functioning independently under broad supervision. Maintain competency in cardiac pathology and emergency resourcefulness. Work 36 hours weekly during days on the 1st shift. Registered Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible with current BLS certification required. Join a Magnet designated organization affiliated with the Mayo Clinic Care Network offering advanced medical knowledge and research access.
Required Qualifications
- Registered (CCI), (RDCS) or registry eligible
- Experience in 2-D, Doppler, color flow and transesophageal echo
- Must demonstrate the ability to function in a professional and independent manner under broad supervision and function effectively and be resourceful in emergency situations
- Hold a current certification in Basic Life Support
