Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac imaging including Echocardiograms with M Mode, 2-D Doppler, Color Flow, TEE, and contrast studies in our IAC accredited Echo lab. Educate and provide instructions to staff, students, and patients while demonstrating expertise in cardiac pathology and procedures. Maintain competence in 2-D, Doppler, and transesophageal echo techniques to function independently under broad supervision and manage emergency situations. Requires current CCI or RDCS certification, Basic Life Support, and experience with color flow imaging. Work 36 hours per week on days.
Required Qualifications
- Registered (CCI), (RDCS) or registry eligible
- Experience in 2-D, Doppler, color flow and transesophageal echo
- Must demonstrate the ability to function in a professional and independent manner under broad supervision and function effectively and be resourceful in emergency situations
- Hold a current certification in Basic Life Support
