Job Summary
Perform Echocardiograms using M Mode, 2-D Doppler, Color Flow, TEE, and contrast studies in an IAC accredited lab while educating staff, students, and patients on cardiac pathology. Maintain competence in cardiac procedures to provide precise instructions and function independently under broad supervision during emergency situations. Requires current CCI or RDCS registration, experience with 2-D and Doppler imaging, and Basic Life Support certification. Schedule includes 36 hours/week on days shift.
Required Qualifications
- Registered (CCI), (RDCS) or registry eligible
- Experience in 2-D, Doppler, color flow and transesophageal echo
- Must demonstrate the ability to function in a professional and independent manner under broad supervision and function effectively and be resourceful in emergency situations
- Hold a current certification in Basic Life Support
