Job Summary
Perform echocardiograms and related cardiac imaging studies (2D, 3D, Doppler) to diagnose and evaluate heart conditions. Prepare patients, capture images with echocardiography equipment, and prepare detailed findings for review by cardiologists. Maintain equipment, perform quality assurance, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care. Requires proficiency in cardiac anatomy and imaging techniques, strong communication, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- BLS Certification
- RDCS or ARDMS certification
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Certified Echo Technician
- Experience in Echocardiogram Studies
- 1-2 years preferred
