Job Summary
Cardiac Sonographer I performs an extensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies in clinical and research settings, including Transthoracic, Exercise, and Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiograms, and specialized procedures as dictated by research protocols. Works closely with Staff Sonographers (Level II/III), Medical Staff, and Investigators to ensure exams follow established policies and procedures. Responsibilities also include clinical instructor duties for JHH Ultrasound students and Cardiology Fellows in the Echo Lab. No relocation or visa sponsorship details are specified. The role involves collaboration across departments to support comprehensive cardiovascular imaging and research activities.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic program required
- Graduation from a CAAHEP–accredited Diagnostic ultrasound program required
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI required
- Experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital-based environment or vascular technologist experience desirable
