Job Summary

Perform extensive cardiac ultrasound studies including transthoracic, exercise, and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms. Provide education and clinical instruction to cardiac sonography students and cardiology fellows. Access and correlate patient medical history while providing proper documentation. Full-time day shift (Monday-Friday) with Saturday rotation. Minimum 39.56/hour to 65.34/hour. Requires CAAHEPP-accredited graduate degree and RDCS or RCS certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEPP) - accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Authorization to Work in the United States
  • Full Time (40 hours)
  • Day Shift
  • 7:30am-4:00pm and 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Monday-Friday
  • Saturday rotation

Desired Qualifications

  • BS in Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred but not required
  • Experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital based environment
  • Additional experience as a vascular technologist
