Job Summary
Perform an extensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies including Transthoracic, Exercise, and Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiograms. Provide education and clinical instruction to cardiac sonography students and cardiology fellows. Access and correlate patient medical history while providing proper documentation. Schedule is full-time day shift (Monday-Friday) with Saturday rotation, 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm. Salary ranges from $39.56 to $65.34 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEPP) - accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI)
- Authorization to Work in the United States
- Full Time (40 hours)
- Day Shift
- 7:30am-4:00pm and 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Monday-Friday
- Saturday rotation
Desired Qualifications
- BS in Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred but not required
- Experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital based environment
- Additional experience as a vascular technologist
