Job Summary

Reviews patient history and physician orders, educates patients on procedures and equipment, and sets expectations for result receipt. Independently performs echocardiography procedures using appropriate transducers and exposure factors, administering contrast media or medications when indicated. Monitors patient condition, reports status changes, and implements safety standards while troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Analyzes imaging results to identify quality issues and enters, transmits, and reports scan findings. Requires RDCS or RCS certification, BLS/CPR, and one year of preferred experience. Full-time onsite role with a structured career ladder and comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and performance bonuses.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program
  • Associate's degree in allied health
  • Bachelor's degree in any area
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
  • Any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
  • BLS card through the American Heart Association
  • BLS card through the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
  • BLS or CPR card good through sixty days of hire
  • Onsite role availability (no hybrid or remote option)

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year preferred experience
