Job Summary
Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiography exams (2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, color flow Doppler) and assist with TEE procedures. Role includes rotating to multiple lab locations, scheduling exams, participating in after-hours/on-call/weekend/holiday coverage, maintaining equipment and logs, staying current with field developments, and contributing to quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Requires an Associate degree and 1 year of echocardiography experience; ARDMS RDCS or CCI(RCS) certification (or eligibility); knowledge of vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, EMR/PACS proficiency; and ability to work day shift in Greer, SC. Supervisory responsibilities are not part of this role.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiology or Sonography program
- One (1) year echocardiography experience performing non-invasive cardiac ultrasound studies
- ARDMS-RDCS or CCI(RCS) certification or eligibility
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics
- Proficiency with EMR and PACS
- Ability to work in a clinical lab environment
- Ability to rotate to multiple lab locations as scheduled
