Job Summary
The Cardiac Sonographer will perform advanced ultrasound imaging for diagnosing and monitoring cardiac conditions, operating ultrasound equipment, and providing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals. This full-time role requires knowledge of cardiac ultrasound protocols, attention to detail, and effective communication in a fast-paced, team-based environment. On-site position at Mercy Hospital Springfield - Heart Hospital with Monday-Friday days and on-call coverage; relocation assistance offered for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR received on the job training by a Preceptor who is registered in Cardiac ultrasound
- Experience: No experience needed
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice
- Certification/Registration: ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI(RCS) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS)
