Job Summary
Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations including M-MODE, 2D Doppler, Color Flow Mapping, and strain imaging for infants, children, and adolescents. Prepare patients and parents psychologically and physically for echocardiograms, then provide verbal reports to faculty and preliminary written analysis for final interpretation. Maintain patient records, laboratory logs, and equipment by cleaning scan heads and following infection control guidelines. Assist with clinical research projects involving data measurement, analysis, and presentation of findings at medical forums. Share technical knowledge with colleagues and provide support for cardiology fellow training. Assume on-call responsibilities for Neonatal External Intensive Care Units at external hospital partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a related field
- ARDMS certification obtained during employment

- 1+ years of Cardiac Sonography experience
