Job Summary
Echo tech/Cardiac Sonographer in an echocardiography-led lab performing comprehensive 2D/3D imaging and color imaging to evaluate heart structure and function. Responsibilities include patient-centered imaging, explaining the process to patients, alerting physicians to critical findings, preparing preliminary echo reports with measurements, and participating in weeknight/weekend call with on-call pay. Collaborates with other sonographers and physicians to ensure smooth patient flow and imaging quality; assists in equipment maintenance and quality control; participates in ongoing education and training for up-to-date patient care; includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and $6,000 relocation assistance for qualifying candidates. Qualifications include graduation from a 2-year Allied Health Ultrasound program or a bachelor’s in a related health science field, ARDMS/RDCS (AE) OR CCI (RCS) credential, BLS, and NMRTT licensure (with time to obtain for new grads). The role is Full-time with varied days/hours, and on-call duties from home with on-call pay; on average, rotation every 7-10 nights. Required Qualifications
- Level I Cardiac Sonographer
- AR DMS/RDCS (AE) OR CCI (RCS) credential
- BLS required at the time of hire
