Job Summary
Perform complete non-invasive transthoracic echocardiographic studies and assist with transesophageal, intraoperative, contrast, and fetal echocardiography procedures. Provide data on cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics to aid cardiologist diagnoses of congenital heart defects while assessing patient status and age requirements. Utilize necessary testing equipment and work at remote clinic facilities. Available for 24-hour on-call rotation after training. Requires Associate's degree in allied health, ARDMS RDCS pediatric registry within two years, and Basic Life Support Certification. Full-time, 40 hours/week Monday through Friday variable day shift with travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in clinical setting performing echocardiograms
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software
- Associate's degree in allied health profession
- ARDMS RDCS pediatric registry within two years of hire
- Appropriate credential in echocardiography from ARDMS or CCI
- Successful completion of an ultrasound or CVT program accredited by CAAHEP or another nationally recognized accrediting body
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Travel Required
- On-Call Rotation Required
- Is available for call 24 hours a day on a rotational basis after appropriate training/orientation period
- Works at remote clinic facilities
