Job Summary
Perform high-quality Transthoracic (TTE) examinations using 2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, and state-of-the-art 3D imaging workflows on GE and Philips platforms. Assist cardiologists with Stress Echocardiograms and Transesophageal (TEE) procedures while analyzing structural measurements and blood flow dynamics for preliminary reporting. Provide empathetic patient education, maintain clean ultrasound probes, and complete essential quality assurance logging. This role requires an active RDCS or RCS credential and BLS certification, with new graduates eligible to obtain registry certification within 12 months. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program specializing in Echocardiography
- Active RDCS (through ARDMS) OR RCS (through CCI) credential
- Must obtain registry certification within 12 months of hire date (for Registry-Eligible New Graduates)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS / CPR) certification
- Deep understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathology
- Seamless interdisciplinary communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
