Job Summary
Perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping, and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on adult and geriatric patients. Maintain performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC. Requires Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent credential from ARDMS, CCI, or Sonography Canada, plus American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Minimum of one call shift per month with holiday requirements. On-call rotation applies. Work hours are 0700-1930. Required Qualifications
- An appropriate credential in echocardiography
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Minimum of 1 call shift per month
