Job Summary
Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 and older referred to Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and support the ongoing development of these services. Conduct cardiac stress tests and assist with training and completing PFT testing. This casual, as-needed role fills in PTOs, leaves, and open shifts on a day rotation from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with no weekend or holiday requirements. BLS certification is required within one month of hire, with ACLS and ACSM certifications needed within six and twelve months, respectively.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an exercise physiology program
- BLS certification within 1 month of hire
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- ACSM Certification at the exercise specialist level within 12 months of employment
- Current RN license in MN with Cardiac Rehabilitation certification within 12 months
- Available hours Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
