Cardiac Rehab Therapist at Monroe Regional Hospital performs prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic procedures to support patients’ cardiac rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities include participating in creating a plan of care, evaluating achievement of identified goals, recording results, and communicating important information to the health care team. The role involves teaching patients about cardiac rehab and providing clinical instruction for nursing, medical students, residents, and ancillary students as needed. A Bachelor’s degree in an Allied Health/Science area is required, with BLS and ACLS certification as needed across units. Preferred membership in AACVPR and other professional organizations.
