Job Summary

Conduct fitness assessments, identify movement dysfunction, and develop treatment programs for client rehabilitation, return-to-play, and injury prevention. Deliver exercise plans in one-on-one, small, and large group settings while educating clients on technique and equipment use. Oversee the "Return to Play" program for injured clients, coordinate with physical therapists and physicians on progress, and mentor Exercise Therapists and Specialists. Maintain equipment and ensure a clean environment adhering to health department codes. Document results and training clearly and timely.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field at an accredited institution
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
  • Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
  • Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
  • Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms
  • May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time

Desired Qualifications

  • Clinical experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is preferred
