Job Summary
Deliver and document care for Cardiac Rehab Phase I inpatients and Phase II and III outpatients through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct and coordinate patient care based on established practice standards while collaborating with other disciplines to achieve desired outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency in core competencies, apply knowledge of guidelines and reimbursement, and utilize cultural diversity awareness in care provision. Contribute to quality improvement, community outreach, and department programs to support organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing
- 3 years nursing experience in medical or surgical cardiology field
- BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support)
- Currently licensed or eligible for Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Florida
Desired Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Nursing or related field
- 1 year experience in Cardiac Rehab
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must have completed certification by 90 Day Performance Review)
- Cardiac Vascular Nurse certification
- CCRN certification
