Job Summary
Carry out duties under supervision of the designated lead Cardiac Physiologist and in cooperation with the Consultant Cardiologist or multidisciplinary team. Calibrate, maintain, and audit external services for all equipment, including care, cleanliness, and sterility. Manage own caseload and contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of diagnostics for other service providers. Prioritize work, promote positive staff morale, and participate in on-call rota or adjustments to facilitate service delivery. Full-time and part-time positions available with competitive salary, relocation expenses, and flexible working patterns.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of the Society for Cardiological Science and Technology or hold an equivalent qualification
- Approved entry-to-practice qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Clinical Measurement Science from Dublin Institute of Technology or Technological University Dublin
- Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and sensitivity towards patient needs
- Strong team-working skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a clinical environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare setting while maintaining professional standards
