Job Summary
Part-time Cardiac/EP Lab OR Attendant responsible for transporting patients from inpatient/ER/ICU to the pre-op holding area, and cleaning operating room suites between procedures. Supports anesthesia staff by stocking anesthesia supplies in medication carts, cleaning anesthesia machines, and transporting anesthesia machines and carts. Transports specimens and blood products to the lab and handles formalin containers for specimen handling. Assists in positioning surgical patients under OR staff guidance and helps prepare the operating room by opening sterile supplies onto the sterile field and ensuring equipment is ready for procedures. Environmental Service and Acute care inventory/supply support roles are included; familiarity with sterile technique and operating room workflows is expected.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma required
- BLS within 90 days of hire
