Job Summary
Cardiac Monitor Technician job responsible for continuous observation and identification of rhythm changes in cardiology patients, printing ECG strips for RN interpretation, maintaining central and bedside monitors, managing alarms, and performing related duties (including video monitoring, order entry, and phones). Requires BLS certification and basic dysrhythmia training; background clearances per company policy. The role supports HIPAA/data privacy compliance and is based in Natrona Heights, PA, with in-person monitoring responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BLS Certification
- Basic cardiac dysrhythmia training or completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia training course upon hire
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
