Job Summary
Coordinate, organize, and prioritize cardiac monitoring activities to support clinical workflows while observing and interpreting cardiac rhythms to alert staff of changes. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-stress environment, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring timely communication with nursing and medical teams. Support the nursing unit by managing cardiac-related data and demonstrating competency in age-specific monitoring and patient interaction. Maintain cooperative relationships with patients, caregivers, families, physicians, and staff while upholding Meritus Health's values of compassion, excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a cardiac monitoring course within one year of hire
- Previous experience with computers and cardiac monitoring
