Job Summary
Conduct intensive care coverage for the Cardiac Surgery Service at the Los Angeles Medical Center, including overnight call and weekend rotations. Manage approximately 1500 annual pump cases encompassing all aspects of adult cardiac surgery within a tertiary care facility. Provide direct patient care in a patient-centered environment supported by a physician-led partnership culture. *Note: This posting outlines a per diem opportunity for Board Eligible or Board Certified Critical Care Medicine physicians, offering hourly pay up to $210, malpractice insurance, and tail coverage.*
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and overnight calls
- Must be available for full-time schedule (40-hrs/wk, Mon-Sun)
- Must be able to work in the Los Angeles area (Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center)
