Job Summary
Conduct intensive care coverage for the Cardiac Surgery Service at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, including overnight call and weekend rotation. Manage approximately 1500 pump cases annually across all aspects of adult cardiac surgery within a tertiary care facility. Provide patient-centered, evidence-based care to a highly diverse population while maintaining Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Critical Care Medicine. Full-time 40-hour schedule with flexible shifts, malpractice insurance, and tail coverage provided.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
- Must be able to work Mon-Sun
- Must be able to work 40-hrs/wk
- Must be able to work overnight call
- Must be able to work weekend coverage of Cardiac Surgery Service
- Must be able to pass a background check/drug screen
