Job Summary
Conduct Cardiac Surgery Service coverage including overnight call and weekend shifts at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. Manage approximately 1500 pump cases annually across all aspects of adult cardiac surgery within a tertiary care facility. Maintain a full-time 40-hour weekly schedule with flexible hours, malpractice insurance, and tail coverage provided. Board eligibility or certification in Critical Care Medicine is required.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and overnight calls
- Must be available for full-time schedule (40-hrs/wk, Mon-Sun)
- Must be able to cover Cardiac Surgery Service
- Must pass a background check/drug screen
