Cardiac Intensivist Per Diem Opportunity

Cardiac Intensivist opportunity at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. Full-time (40 hrs/wk) with overnight call and weekend coverage for the Cardiac Surgery Service. Requires Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine. Provides physician support with malpractice tail coverage; non-benefitted. Location and team offer a tertiary-care environment with a wide range of cardiac surgery cases. Responsibilities center on ICU-level critical care for cardiac surgery patients and collaboration within SCPMG. Expertise in critical care, cardiothoracic postoperative management, and a patient-centered approach are essential, with the ability to work a flexible scheduling pattern including nights and weekends.
