Job Summary
Evaluate and treat Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting by taking histories, conducting physical examinations, and recording data in patient records. Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries while preparing patient workups. Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as direct patient care services are delivered. Collaborate with physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers. This PRN role offers comprehensive compensation, a CME allowance, and access to Piedmont Heart Institute's full line of cardiovascular services including electrophysiology and transplant. One to two years of cardiology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as an NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years cardiology experience as an APP
Additional Requirements
- 1-2 years cardiology experience as an APP strongly preferred
