Job Summary
Evaluate and treat Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting by taking histories, conducting physical examinations, and recording data. Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries while preparing patient workups. Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures directly as patient care services are delivered. Collaborate with physicians and other Advanced Practice Providers in the Acute Care Services team. This full-time weekend role is with Piedmont Heart Institute, a leading cardiology program offering electrophysiology, transplant, and advanced heart failure services.
Required Qualifications
- Current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Current license for the Georgia State Composite Board
- ACLS Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
- Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia
- Updated NCCPA certification for PA's
- Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP) in the State of Georgia
