Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse - Part Time

Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse (Part Time) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO. Provides direct patient care in the CICU/CCU with responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, collaboration with interprofessional team, patient and family education, and ensuring patient safety and quality. Role entails managing patients with cardiogenic shock, myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions, with experience or exposure to devices (LVAD, IABP, Impella) and critical care procedures (Swan-Ganz catheter, arterial and central lines, ventilators). RN staff operate under the BJC RN Career Ladder, with shift differential for nights/weekends/holidays and a 12-hour shift structure (2 shifts per night). Minimum qualifications include RN licensure and Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; BSN preferred with <2 years of experience.
