Job Summary
Conduct permanent pacemaker and ICD/CRT-D implants, perform comprehensive ablation procedures for atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and execute LAAC closures within a dedicated 100% EP practice. Manage pacemaker lead extractions and collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons on convergent procedures. Deliver care for cardiovascular patients in both ambulatory and inpatient settings at Prisma Health's dedicated cardiac hospital, supporting clinical excellence, research, and education with faculty rank at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist
- Permanent Pacemaker implants
- Pacemaker Lead extractions
- ICD & CRT-D implants
- Comprehensive Ablation Program: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT (endo and epi)
- Convergent procedures in collaboration with cardiovascular surgeons
- LAAC closure
- 100% dedicated EP practice with EP practice call only
Desired Qualifications
- Structured academic time for teaching, research, and program development (with faculty rank with University of South Carolina School of Medicine)
- Pacemaker Lead extractions (desirable, but not necessary)
