Job Summary
Perform high-quality patient assessment and management for cardiac arrhythmias, autonomously managing inpatient consult services, outpatient clinics, and admissions with limited physician supervision. Independently handle Electrophysiology Studies, ablations, and CIED implantation while ordering and scheduling diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Provide daily sign-outs to the collaborative team and participate in training APPs, students, and nurses. Work four 10-hour shifts across Piedmont Fayette, Newnan, and Atlanta locations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Holds current license from the Georgia State Composite Board
- BLS / ACLS certified
- Willing to go to both PFH and PNH (only one location per day)
- Works four 10-hour shifts (inclusive of IP and OP responsibilities)
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal candidate has at least 1-2 years of experience managing Cardiology and/or Electrophysiology patients
