Job Summary
Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, and ventricular arrhythmias. Perform diagnostic electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation procedures, while implanting and managing cardiac implantable electronic devices such as pacemakers and ICDs. Provide outpatient and inpatient consultations, interpret ambulatory monitoring studies, and document all clinical care in the electronic medical record. Participate in shared call coverage with cardiology colleagues to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care. This full-time attending role offers a balanced mix of procedural and clinical responsibilities within an established cardiovascular program at VHC Health's main campus in Arlington, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology fellowship
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical licensure
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered and team-oriented approach
