Job Summary
Cardiac Diagnostic - Stress Nurse provides specialized cardiac nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, administering medications and therapies per clinical protocols, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, and collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes. The role emphasizes safety, professional development, and adherence to ethical standards, with potential to float to other units within the service area as needed. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and typically 1 year of nursing experience; BSN preferred. Part-time (20 hours/week) with rotating days and on-site shifts at two Wisconsin facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
- Certification / Registration / License: Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing client nursing services.
- Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
