Cardiac Device Specialist (Full-Time)

Job Summary

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot various cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) programmers while deciphering complex device data elements in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. Collaborate with the Electrophysiology and Cardiology Team to manage arrhythmia interpretation, device utilization for noninvasive termination protocols, and remote data interpretation. Communicate cardiac device applications to physicians and patients concisely, demonstrating global device knowledge and clinical independence. Requires AHA Basic Life Support certification and either formal comprehensive training in cardiac pacing/electrophysiology or two years of relevant experience. Work hours are 0730-1600.

Required Qualifications

  • Successfully completed a formal comprehensive training program in cardiac pacing and/or electrophysiology
  • two (2) years of working with cardiac devices or in Electrophysiology
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate from a recognized institution of Cardiac Device Technology and/or Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Completion of a Bachelor's Program in Nursing, Engineering or related field
