Job Summary

Prepare patients for cardiovascular procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning them, and administering contrast media and medications within scope. Assist the radiologist during specialized imaging procedures including angio, complex vascular, and neuro interventional work while interpreting and reporting test results. Maintain equipment, supplies, and lab areas; ensure compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards. Monitor patient activity during procedures and report abnormalities. Perform point of care testing as assigned and work in a constant state of alertness. Requires completion of a Radiology program, ARRT-R credential, and BLS/ALS certification. Full-time day shifts with 40 weekly hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of Radiology program
  • ARRT-R credential
  • Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Radiologic Technologists - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
  • Radiologic Technologists – Temporary Accreditation - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
  • Radiographer, Licensed - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
